easy access to parks and landmarks for exploring
I enjoyed wonderful strolls through the expansive gardens and made visits to nearby landmarks, including the amazing Dambulla Rock, just over 4 km away, nice for scenic walks and exploration. The overall easy access to the Dambulla museum.

High standard and recently renovated rooms. Great pool, parking on-site. Fast check-in. Location close enough to Sigiriya, many attractions such as Sigiriya rock and all the local sites on tuk-tuk, including Sigiriya.

missingWrote a review on 09 Novrestaurant cleanliness
The restaurant's food offerings were lackluster, especially breakfast with limited options and suffered from cleanliness issues like flies on exposed food. Our balcony felt uncomfortable due to proximity to noisy neighbors. The maintenance of the hotel showed signs of wear and tear, including tired furniture and unkempt pool areas.

Breakfast and dinner were both good. One night was a set menu and one a buffet and both were very nice especially the Sri Lanka dishes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. A good location for trips to Dambulla and Sigiriya Rock. Location is quiet, not much to do other than trips but the rooms were nice to relax in with interesting design.
There was not a lively feel to the hotel I think due to the design where the main buiding feels like a temporary building and the rooms are all tucked away. You don't really see any other guests other than at meals so it feels like a bit of a ghost town if you take an afternoon off sightseeing! The bar and pool are barely used as guests are mostly on tours to the sights around the hotel. The rooms need mosquito nets because we were bitten quite badly.

Unique open design for the reception area and restaurant and the pool. Nice 'condo' feel to the accommodation unit. The staff were anxious - to a fault - to serve.
As mentioned above, the staff were anxious to serve, but at times their service became somewhat intrusive. Hardly any moments to relax in the restaurant without having to respond to offers to bring 'this' or clear 'that'. Their training is obviously very complete but now they need to apply a little restraint in their eagerness to please.

The restaurant was very nice with high quality food, I tried savoury dishes. A jacuzzi in the bathroom was a plus. Overall the staff was really excellent...

An Exquisite Retreat with Unparalleled Service
I stumbled upon this gem and was thoroughly impressed! The amazing gardens and infinity pool offered a perfect escape, while the staff's warm hospitality was good. Don't miss the spa for a rejuvenating massage amidst nature. Ideal for families. Make sure to explore the buffet options!

The gardens and expansive grounds provided a beautiful setting, and the vegan rice and curry option was a pleasant surprise. The dining experience fell short with limited vegetarian buffet selections and inconsistent service. One meal was missed entirely, leaving us sharing. The room had maintenance issues, such as a non-functional ceiling fan and persistent bathroom odors. While the staff was polite, the overall management did not meet expectations .
